The HBCU Marching Band Hall of Fame event provides a platform for talented collegiate musicians to exhibit their musical talents in the spirit of showmanship and competition.  The most important aspect of this event is to sponsor and contribute back to the music community.  Over $120,000 in grant funds will be donated to participating schools as well as to the United Negro College Fund.  The Marching Band Hall of Fame also allocates funds to local high school band programs to assist students with instruments and band participation needs.  This year’s receipents are bands from Fredrick Douglass High School and Benjamin E. Mays High School, both of Atlanta, GA.  For more info, please visit www.marchingbandhof.com

B. Rossi is a product of band programs of Southwest DeKalb High School, Decatur, GA and Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida.  His eclectic musical talent and unique originality place him at the top of the charts in innovation and creativity.  His single “Halftime” parallels with the theme of the Marching Band Hall of Fame showcase while adding a diverse spin on the traditional sound of band music.
